SAFE at Global Food Safety: 7&8 Sept 2016
SAFE consortium was proud to once again be a Promotional Partner for the Global Food Safety Summit. The 11th annual Summit was on 7 and 8 September in Barcelona (ES). This 2-day event brought together 100+ key stakeholders in the global food and beverage supply chain, including industry, researchers and regulators. All participants profited from the excellent presentatinos, the networking possibilities and the opportunities to share strategic insights offered by this prestigious summit.
SAFE members enjoyed a registration discount.
SAFE consortium AGM: 21 OCTOBER at Food Factory 2016
The 2016 Annual General Meeting of the SAFE consortium took place in two parts. Part 1 was on 13 MAY 2016 by Teleconference and Part 2 on 21 OCTOBER 2016 at the SAFE Annual Event: a workshop on Safe Food for the Future at the Food Factory 2016 Conference in Laval France.

The safety of foods of the future and of emerging bio-based food technologies needs immediate and constant attention. SAFE consortium held a relevant workshop at the 8th International Food Factory for the Future conference, Food Factory 2016, in Laval France.

SAFE at Wageningen Food Law Winter School: Feb 2016

SAFE at Feeding The Planet: High Technologies, New Frontiers and Legal Implications: 12 Oct 2015
This conference was organized by Food Lawyers Network Worldwide and took place at EXPO Milano.
Co-organisers of the conference were EuCheMS (Division of Food Chemistry of European Chemical Sciences), the SAFE consortium and the Università del Piemonte Orientale.
SAFE at Improving Food Safety and Labelling in the EU: Smarter Rules for a Sustainable Agri-Food Chain, 10 Sept 2014
The SAFE consortium chaired this Brussels event which was organised by the Public Policy Exchange. The event was an opportunity for experts, policy makers, NGOs and other key stakeholders to discuss the latest European regulatory action on food safety and food labelling, targeting a sustaianble agri-food chain. The symposium allowed delegates to assess the current challenges faced and to share best practices and initiatives from across Europe.

SAFE at EuroFoodChem 2015: 13-16 Oct
EuroFoodChem 2015 was held in Madrid (ES) from 13 through 16 Oct. As in previous years, there was a special SAFE Session on Food Safety.
SAFE at Global Food Safety 2015: 8&9 Sept
The 10th annual Global Food Safety was on 8 and 9 September in Amsterdam. This event brought together key stakeholders in the global food and beverage supply chain, including industry, researchers and regulators.
