The SAFE Database of Expertise

The SAFE consortium decided in 2006 that it would develop a detailed overview of the Member Institutes' scientific and technological skills and publish this on the web site as a service to the members and to relations world-wide. The database was developed earlier in 2007 and it was put on this web page in November that year. I will be updated with each change in the membership or in the activity base of the members.

The database will serve two purposes:

1.    Serve as an open window to the world, showing what the individual member institutes of the SAFE consortium can offer and which unique combinations of scientific skills and services from the Member Institutes are possible within each one of the scientific activity areas presented. If you want more detailed information, please do not hesitate to send an inquiry to katherine.flynn@safeconsortium.org

2.    Serve as a source of valuable and detailed information for the Member Institutes themselves, e.g. for the individual scientist to locate colleagues in other institutes and/or to find partners for the development of common project proposals. This part of the database will show information like names, addresses, publications etc. It be pass word protected.
